This course will enable participants to have a better understanding of the 6th - 8th Grade Science essential standards. Participants will apply Revised Bloom's Taxonomy (RBT) in analyzing the NC Science Essential Standards to achieve alignment among the standards, instruction, and assessment.
Participants will learn to: * clarify the terms learning targets and success criteria * classify and write learning targets along with associated criteria for success * identify strategies for implementing learning targets and success criteria to improve student outcomes.
