"This is a full day session. You must fulfill all components to receive certification.
Heartsaver CPR Initial or Renewal Course including Adult CPR AED (with a mask), Adult choking, Child CPR AED, and Child Choking. This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card CPR AED to meet job, regulatory, personal, or other requirements. There is a student manual required for this course. If you are renewing, please bring your ""American Heart Association Heartsaver, First Aid, CPR and AED Student Workbook"" Item# 15-1018.. You will need to have a current CPR/First Aid student manual and bring the current edition with you. This session is for initial or renewal certification. IMPORTANT – Due to the nature of this training, no children will be permitted in the session.
AHA Heartsaver First Aid Target Audience: All Educators Heartsaver First Aid OPEN TO CURRENT GCS EMPLOYEES ONLY - This session will include- First aid basics (including scene safety, finding the problem, calling for help and more) • Medical emergencies (including actions for choking, breathing problems, shock and more) Injury emergencies (including actions for bleeding, broken bones, burns and more) Environmental emergencies (including actions for bites and stings, and temperature-related and poison emergencies) There is a workbook required for this course: ""Heart Saver, First Aid, CPR, AED Student Manual"". You need to have the student manual ahead of time or bring the current edition listed with you. IMPORTANT – Due to the nature of this training, no children will be permitted in the session. "
